2014-06-25ktap: Set MACHINE_ARCH because of ktap-module runtime dependencyMartin Jansa
* it's possible to exclude ktap-module dependency from siggen, but then we would need to exclude virtual/kernel and that doesn't work we would need to list all posisble providers as ktap->linux-yocto ktap->linux-foo .... Signed-off-by: Martin Jansa <Martin.Jansa@gmail.com>
2014-02-23recipes: convert remaining SUMMARY/DESCRIPTION cosmetic issuesMatthieu CRAPET
Changes: - rename SUMMARY with length > 80 to DESCRIPTION - rename DESCRIPTION with length < 80 to (non present tag) SUMMARY - drop final point character at the end of SUMMARY string - remove trailing whitespace of SUMMARY line Note: don't bump PR Signed-off-by: Matthieu Crapet <Matthieu.Crapet@ingenico.com> Signed-off-by: Martin Jansa <Martin.Jansa@gmail.com>
2014-01-15ktap: add configs for elfutils and ffiAnders Darander
libelf (elfutils) is required for resolving symbols in DSO and for sdt (taken from ktap docs). The earlier v0.4 recipe built ktap against libelf if it was found, thus enable it per default. FFI needs to be enabled for both userspace and kernel module. Currently, it is only supported for x86_64 (enforced when building ktap-module). 2014-01-01ktap: upgrade to 0.4Martin Jansa
* tag v0.3 (and its SRCREV) doesn't exist in any branch so latest bitbake refuses to fetch it Signed-off-by: Martin Jansa <Martin.Jansa@gmail.com>
2013-11-18ktap: fix SRCREV for v0.3Anders Darander
When ktap made the release announcement, the tag v0.3 seems to have moved. Set the correct SRCREV for the announced v0.3. Signed-off-by: Anders Darander <anders@chargestorm.se> Signed-off-by: Martin Jansa <Martin.Jansa@gmail.com>
2013-10-21ktap: add initial recipeAnders Darander
Ktap is a new scripting dynamic tracing tool for Linux. >From kernel v3.13 it'll live inside the kernel tree, but for earlier kernels, this recipe will be usefull. Signed-off-by: Anders Darander <anders@chargestorm.se> Signed-off-by: Martin Jansa <Martin.Jansa@gmail.com>

2013-04-15recipes: Unify indentationMartin Jansa
* This change is only aesthetic (unlike indentation in Python tasks). * Some recipes were using tabs. * Some were using 8 spaces. * Some were using mix or different number of spaces. * Make them consistently use 4 spaces everywhere. * Yocto styleguide advises to use tabs (but the only reason to keep tabs is the need to update a lot of recipes). Lately this advice was also merged into the styleguide on the OE wiki. * Using 4 spaces in both types of tasks is better because it's less error prone when someone is not sure if e.g. do_generate_toolchain_file() is Python or shell task and also allows to highlight every tab used in .bb, .inc, .bbappend, .bbclass as potentially bad (shouldn't be used for indenting of multiline variable assignments and cannot be used for Python tasks). * Don't indent closing quote on multiline variables we're quite inconsistent wheater it's first character on line under opening quote or under first non-whitespace character in previous line. 2013-01-18compat-wireless: upgrade and fixupMartin Jansa
* use INC_PR * fix RDEPENDS * use normal PV * move checksums from .inc to .bb * upgrade, because old version fails to build with a lot of errors like this: compat-wireless-3.5-rc5-1/include/linux/compat-3.5.h:102:8: error: redefinition of 'struct tc_fq_codel_xstats' * 3.5.4-1, 3.6.8-1 can failed when kernel option is missing: | compat-wireless-all/3.5.4-r1.0/compat-wireless-3.5.4-1/drivers/net/ethernet/broadcom/b44.c:2342:2: error: implicit declaration of function 'ssb_pcihost_register' [-Werror=implicit-function-declaration] | cc1: some warnings being treated as errors Signed-off-by: Martin Jansa <Martin.Jansa@gmail.com>
2012-07-19Add compat-wireless recipe.Denis Carikli
This recipe was based on the compat-wireless.inc recipe from openembedded-classic at commit 53784a5e2622582ce5e2ffb91bbdb573503ed75e The .inc is there in order to make it possible to have such recipes: $ cat compat-wireless-ath_0.bb include compat-wireless.inc do_configure() { cd ${S} ./scripts/driver-select ath } 0001-ath5k-fix-compilation-without-CONFIG_PCI.patch will have to be submitted upstream Signed-off-by: Denis 'GNUtoo' Carikli <GNUtoo@no-log.org> Signed-off-by: Koen Kooi <koen@dominion.thruhere.net>
