* libid3tag: Fix reproducibility issueRichard Purdie2021-02-272-0/+22
| | | | | | | Configure was swallowing our cflags meaning the resulting binaries were not reproducible. Tweak configure not to do that and fix reproducibility. Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>

| | | | | | | | | do_patch() doesn't apply files called .dpatch, so rename it to .patch. Fixes CVE-2004-2779. Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>

* libid3tag: use "foreign" automake strictnessRoss Burton2014-07-161-1/+2
| | | | | | | | libid3tag doesn't want GNU-levels of automake strictness so tell it to be "foreign". Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
* Replace one-line DESCRIPTION with SUMMARYPaul Eggleton2014-01-021-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | A lot of our recipes had short one-line DESCRIPTION values and no SUMMARY value set. In this case it's much better to just set SUMMARY since DESCRIPTION is defaulted from SUMMARY anyway and then the SUMMARY is at least useful. I also took the opportunity to fix up a lot of the new SUMMARY values, making them concisely explain the function of the recipe / package where possible. Signed-off-by: Paul Eggleton <paul.eggleton@linux.intel.com>
* libid3tag: remove unrecognised optionRobert Yang2014-01-021-2/+0
| | | | | | | There is no --enable-speed in libid3tag's configure, but in libmad, and it's already there, so remove it. Signed-off-by: Robert Yang <liezhi.yang@windriver.com>
* libid3tag: replace obsolete automake macros with working onesMarko Lindqvist2013-01-092-2/+18
| | | | | | | | Add obsolete_automake_macros.patch that replaces automake macros no longer supported by automake-1.13 with modern constructs. Signed-off-by: Marko Lindqvist <cazfi74@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Saul Wold <sgw@linux.intel.com>

* zlib: Upgrade 1.2.5 -> 1.2.6Khem Raj2012-02-101-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Dont use autotools, it really not so autoconf like. the configure script gets updated with every release of zlib and we overwrite that. Instead use the upstream provided configure copyright year was changed in zlib.h which caused change in LIC_FILE_CHECKSUM fix.inverted.LFS.logic.patch is already applied upstream so drop it Drop the configure.ac and Makefile.am scripts since we do not autoreconf anymore and do not inherit autotools anymore Bump PR for depending recipes so a rebuild it ensues so that they dont depend on .la anymore and add missing dependencies discovered during incremental build Signed-off-by: Khem Raj <raj.khem@gmail.com>

* recipes: Delete patch=1, its default and replace pnum with striplevelKhem Raj2011-08-231-1/+1
| | | | | | | Some place pnum=1 is used which is removed as well since striplevel=1 is default Signed-off-by: Khem Raj <raj.khem@gmail.com>
* Drop PRIORITY variableRichard Purdie2011-07-011-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | As discussed on the mailing list, this variable isn't useful and if wanted would be better implemented by distros using pn-X overrides. This patch executes: find . -regex ".*\.\(bb\|inc\)$" | xargs sed -i '/^PRIORITY = ".*"$/d' against the tree removing the referenced. Thanks to Phil Blundell for the command. Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>

* Major layout change to the packages directoryRichard Purdie2010-08-272-0/+61
Having one monolithic packages directory makes it hard to find things and is generally overwhelming. This commit splits it into several logical sections roughly based on function, recipes.txt gives more information about the classifications used. The opportunity is also used to switch from "packages" to "recipes" as used in OpenEmbedded as the term "packages" can be confusing to people and has many different meanings. Not all recipes have been classified yet, this is just a first pass at separating things out. Some packages are moved to meta-extras as they're no longer actively used or maintained.
