grub-efi build fails with the following error on Fedora 26:

Rather than erroring out on a single attempt while
terminating EFI services, make a few retries because
such quirks are found in a few implementations.
Also fix a div by zero issue in the same framework
which causes an infinite reboot on the target.
Both patches included here are backports.

While using oe-core toolchain to strip grub module 'all_video.mod',
it stripped symbol table:

It caused grub to load module all_video failed.
(This module will be loaded by defalut which configed in grub.cfg)

grub-editenv edits the env block at runtime on a booted system. Other
tools can depend on it to configure a live system, for ex. to set next
boot mode upon reboot. By splitting grub-editenv, tools don't have to
depend on the entire grub package (grub-editenv just edits one file).

* When adding new source files from upstream the autogen.sh
script needs to be run
* Rework grub2-remove-sparc64-setup-from-x86-builds.patch
to remove the grub-setup helper program grub-sparc64-setup
in Makefile.util.def instead of the previous Makefile.util.am
to avoid the update for Makefile.util.am in do_patch phase is
overwritten by the autogen.sh in do_configure phase

ac_cv_sizeof_off_t was previously in the site cache files, which was breaking
large file support and required a workaround in each recipe that actually wanted
to use large files.
Now that the entry has been removed from the site cache, we can remove the
workarounds.

grub contains it's own internal lzma library. Attempting to build grub against
the system liblzma shared library or header files is not likely to end well.
This change does not cause a floating dependency since all grub2.inc based
recipes pass "--enable-liblzma=no" to configure.

grub2 creates its own set of -nostdinc / -isystem / -ffreestanding
CFLAGS and OE's default BUILD_CFLAGS (assigned to CFLAGS for native
builds) etc, conflict with that.

The grub2 configure script uses variables such as TARGET_CFLAGS etc
for its own purposes. Remove the OE versions from the configure
environment to avoid conflicts.

This is inspired by musl porting, where grub's configure is enabling
largefile support based on glibc versions, instead an upstream patch
turns it into autoconf check
Update git version recipe
arm platforms use this recipe to provide grub and it needed fixes from
upstream so upgrade to latest tip of git and forward port patches as
well as drop the ones already applied upstream

The currnet patches in OE-core doesn't have the "CVE:"
tag, now part of the policy of the patches.
This is patch add this tag to several patches. There might
be patches that I miss; the tag can be added in the future.

The current grub2 fails on loading large initrd file (> 500M) since
the initrd size is added to the addr_min and causes the failure.
Fix it by picking a patch from grub2 upstream.

grub-efi, otherwise there might be failures as:

* Make grub and grub-efi use the same patches since they use the same
source. (grub_git is different).
* grub-efi:
- Use autotools to replace autotools-brokensep
- Remove the DEPENDS of freetype, it should be a RDEPENDS.
- Remove grub-2.00-ignore-gnulib-gets-stupidity.patch since it is a
duplication of remove-gets.patch.
- Make grub-efi.rpm contain files rather than make an empty package.

An issue was found where when yocto is installed to a hard disk
from a live USB key, no matter what boot order was selected in
the BIOS menu, the grub menu of the USB key would always show
up. The issue was narrowed down to the way grub configuration
file gets embedded into the standalone bootx64.efi image.
The commit prepends ($cmdpath) to the search path for grub.cfg,
thus making sure the UEFI environment itself sets this to the
correct device path. This in-turn lets the grub.cfg of the boot
device to be loaded.

We have this in recipes-bsp/grub/grub/40_custom:

These lines are only for initrdscripts/files/init-install.sh, the side
effect is that it would make the target's grub-mkconfig doesn't work
well since the 40_custom will be installed to /etc/grub.d/40_custom, the
grub-mkconfig will run the 40_custom, and there will always be a
'menuentry "Linux"' menu in grub.cfg no matter it is valid or not, we
can do this in init-install.sh rather than grub to fix the problem,
which is also much simpler.
We have done the related work in init-install.sh, now we need remove our own
40_custom, and use grub's own 40_custom which is the right one.

The class itself currently does nothing. The idea is to mark all recipes that
make use of the texinfo utilities. In the future, this class could be used to
suppress the generation/formatting of documentation for performance,
explicitly track dependencies on these utilities, and eliminate Yocto's
current dependency on the host system's texinfo utilities.

The previous behavior defines a static set of modules that are built
into the grub efi executable. This works fine for a limited set of boot
environments namely the standard linux/initrd. This patch conditionally
assigns the same modules to a variable. This allows other meta layers
to add additional modules or completely override the defaults. The use
case driving this patch is the use of multiboot2 and related modules.

Debugedit errors out on bare metal binaries. The first version of this patch limited it to 64 bit targets, but the problem now shows up on 32 bit targets (minnowboard) as well.

Exclude the .pc from po/POTFILES.in since quilt uses "patch --backup",
which will create the backup file under .pc, this may cause unexpected
errors, for example, on CentOS 5.x, if the backup file is null
(newfile), it's mode will be 000, then we will get errors when xgettext
try to read it.

grub-2.00-disable-help2man patches configure.ac to disable the help2man check
because we don't need the man pages. It also then patches configure itself so
that autogen.sh doesn't have to be called for performance reasons. However,
do_configure causes a full autoreconf so this optimisation is moot, and can
cause patch failures when an existing build tree is re-used.
Instead, simply use CACHED_CONFIGUREVARS to tell configure that it can't find
help2man.
