* distro_features_check: expand with MACHINE_FEATURES and COMBINED_FEATURES, ↵Denys Dmytriyenko2019-11-211-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | rename Besides checking DISTRO_FEATURES for required or conflicting features, being able to check MACHINE_FEATURES and/or COMBINED_FEATURES may also be useful at times. Temporarily support the old class name with a warning about future deprecation. Signed-off-by: Denys Dmytriyenko <denys@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
* matchbox-session-sato: Make the battery applet depend on machine featuresEran Matityahu2018-05-152-2/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | matchbox-panel enables the battery plugin only if the acpi/apm machine features are enabled, so enable the battery applet in the session script under the same conditions. This avoids the 'Failed to load applet "battery"' warning at runtime, in case these machine features are not defined. * matchbox-session-sato: Add PACKAGE_WRITE_DEPS for postinstRichard Purdie2017-01-191-1/+1
| | | | | | | The postinstall needs gconf-native, mark the dependency and drop the now unneeded DEPENDS. Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
* matchbox-desktop: Add Sato folder configurationJussi Kukkonen2016-06-151-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | matchbox-desktop folder configuration for Sato was in a separate project 'matchbox-desktop-sato'. Skip the extra overhead: remove matchbox-desktop-sato and include the files here. Drop Utilities folder and include those icons in the Applictions folder in an effort to make the common case a little more useful: Now e.g. Terminal icon should be visible on startup. * matchbox-session-sato: Update session startupJussi Kukkonen2016-06-153-10/+17
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | * Use Adwaita Gtk+ theme * sato-gtk-engine is no longer needed with Adwaita * GTK_CSD tricks are no longer needed since the panel does not draw on top windows * Add meta-theme index file: it used to be provided by gtk-sato-engine and is used by matchbox-config-gtk only (to be able to show a single selection for Gtk+, icon and Matchbox themes). This is a more logical place for it. * Set matchbox-theme gconf key (just to be explicit, this is the default already) Signed-off-by: Jussi Kukkonen <jussi.kukkonen@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com>
* matchbox-session-sato: set GTK_CSD env varJussi Kukkonen2015-07-161-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | Sato practically requires server side decorations as matchbox panel draws on top of the title bar. Setting "GTK_CSD=0" informs GTK+3 that we really want server side decorations even for apps designed for CSD. Signed-off-by: Jussi Kukkonen <jussi.kukkonen@intel.com>
* recipes-sato: add x11 to REQUIRED_DISTRO_FEATURESRobert Yang2015-05-141-0/+5

* Replace one-line DESCRIPTION with SUMMARYPaul Eggleton2014-01-021-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | A lot of our recipes had short one-line DESCRIPTION values and no SUMMARY value set. In this case it's much better to just set SUMMARY since DESCRIPTION is defaulted from SUMMARY anyway and then the SUMMARY is at least useful. I also took the opportunity to fix up a lot of the new SUMMARY values, making them concisely explain the function of the recipe / package where possible. * Replace OpenedHand Bugzilla in BUGTRACKERPaul Eggleton2014-01-021-1/+1
| | | | | | | | This site no longer exists, and all of these are now (semi-)maintained on yoctoproject.org infrastructure, so set BUGTRACKER to point to the Yocto Project Bugzilla. Signed-off-by: Paul Eggleton <paul.eggleton@linux.intel.com>
* matchbox-session-sato: install GConf values directly instead of using schemasRoss Burton2013-04-222-61/+13
| | | | | | | | | | | | Because both matchbox-session-sato and settings-daemon were attempting to install their preferred values though schemas there was a race as to which ones were used. Revert matchbox-session-sato back to writing the values directly, adding a dependency on gconf-native so that this can happen on the host. * matchbox-session-sato: do not rdepend on initscriptsChen Qi2013-03-011-5/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Previously, matchbox-session-sato depended on initscripts, thus resulting in initscripts package built and installed in case of systemd init manager. But there is actually no dependency between them. So this patch removes the dependency. * matchbox-session-sato: start the keyboard applet if we have no keyboardRoss Burton2013-02-221-1/+8

* Major layout change to the packages directoryRichard Purdie2010-08-272-0/+75
Having one monolithic packages directory makes it hard to find things and is generally overwhelming. This commit splits it into several logical sections roughly based on function, recipes.txt gives more information about the classifications used. The opportunity is also used to switch from "packages" to "recipes" as used in OpenEmbedded as the term "packages" can be confusing to people and has many different meanings. Not all recipes have been classified yet, this is just a first pass at separating things out. Some packages are moved to meta-extras as they're no longer actively used or maintained.
