For .diff/.patch you need to apply manually, you can specify apply=no.

* Drop all prior patches... debian has none applied so
it should work on mips and such as well.

* 'h' contraint for mips inline asm has been dropped
starting gcc 4.4 so we need to replace its usage
with equivalent code.
