For .diff/.patch you need to apply manually, you can specify apply=no.

I used TARGET_CC_ARCH += "${LDFLAGS}" because the following didn't work:
*EXTRA_OEMAKE = "XLDFLAGS='${LDFLAGS}'" (xldflags was present in some Makefile)
*EXTRA_OEMAKE = "LDFLAGS='${LDFLAGS}'"

This has based in Debian's 8.64~dfsg-12 package and all patches has
been taken from it.
