2020-05-07recipes: Remove remaining INC_PR variablesRichard Purdie
Most of these were unused, remaining in the inc files long after the PR values were removed from the recipes. The only two which did anything wre in xorg-font and for those, bump PR by hand and remove the INC_PR to clean up all references. This kind of change is much better handled by PRServ now. DGA (Direct Graphics Access) is an obsolete extension that neither modern X drivers nor applications support. We'll remove the client library, so remove the optional dependency on DGA in xdpyinfo. 2018-03-09xset: refresh patchesRoss Burton
The patch tool will apply patches by default with "fuzz", which is where if the hunk context isn't present but what is there is close enough, it will force the patch in. Whilst this is useful when there's just whitespace changes, when applied to source it is possible for a patch applied with fuzz to produce broken code which still compiles (see #10450). This is obviously bad. We'd like to eventually have do_patch() rejecting any fuzz on these grounds. For that to be realistic the existing patches with fuzz need to be rebased and reviewed. The gettext 0.16.1 doesn't install any m4 files to sysroot, please see the following commit: commit 9e10db5bdfe77c0ef2aff2f1cf89958b62c294a1 Author: Christopher Larson <kergoth@gmail.com> Date: Mon Mar 17 18:10:54 2014 +0000 gettext-0.16.1: kill target m4 macros from sysroot This is aim for using gettext-native's macros(gettext-native-0.19.4), but when we set: PREFERRED_VERSION_gettext = "0.16.1" And build the recipes like pcmanfm, we would get errors when do_configure: configure:5164: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_NLS This is because autotools_copy_aclocals doesn't copy the native macros for target unless they're direct dependencies.
