* Convert to new override syntaxRichard Purdie2021-07-301-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | This is the result of automated script conversion: scripts/contrib/convert-overrides.py <oe-core directory> converting the metadata to use ":" as the override character instead of "_". Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
* oe-core: take UPSTREAM_CHECK_COMMITS into use where possibleAlexander Kanavin2017-11-291-1/+1
| | | | | | | | This greatly reduces the amount of recipes for which upstream version check fails: from about 30 to about 8. Signed-off-by: Alexander Kanavin <alexander.kanavin@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com>
* selftest: fix distrodata.py to use per-recipe UPSTREAM_VERSION_UNKNOWN settingAlexander Kanavin2017-08-161-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | ... instead of a global exception list which was problematic. [YOCTO #11896] Signed-off-by: Alexander Kanavin <alexander.kanavin@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
* xcursor-transparent-theme: upgrade to latest git revisionJohannes Pointner2016-03-283-49/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Incorporates the patches we were carrying, and adds some icon names that were not handled. * Replace one-line DESCRIPTION with SUMMARYPaul Eggleton2014-01-021-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | A lot of our recipes had short one-line DESCRIPTION values and no SUMMARY value set. In this case it's much better to just set SUMMARY since DESCRIPTION is defaulted from SUMMARY anyway and then the SUMMARY is at least useful. I also took the opportunity to fix up a lot of the new SUMMARY values, making them concisely explain the function of the recipe / package where possible. * Replace OpenedHand Bugzilla in BUGTRACKERPaul Eggleton2014-01-021-1/+1
| | | | | | | | This site no longer exists, and all of these are now (semi-)maintained on yoctoproject.org infrastructure, so set BUGTRACKER to point to the Yocto Project Bugzilla. Signed-off-by: Paul Eggleton <paul.eggleton@linux.intel.com>

* Improve handling of 'all' architecture recipes and their interaction with sstateRichard Purdie2011-10-041-4/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | * Jansa: rebased on current master, added nocompiler patch also to font-alias, dropped allarch from linux-firmware, gnome-icon-theme, hal-info as those are checking compiler (ie in intltool check) and better to build them as default arch instead of rebuilding after every machine change. * this is also part of [BUGID# 1075] Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org> Signed-off-by: Martin Jansa <Martin.Jansa@gmail.com>
* recipes: Delete patch=1, its default and replace pnum with striplevelKhem Raj2011-08-231-2/+2

* Major layout change to the packages directoryRichard Purdie2010-08-273-0/+53
Having one monolithic packages directory makes it hard to find things and is generally overwhelming. This commit splits it into several logical sections roughly based on function, recipes.txt gives more information about the classifications used. The opportunity is also used to switch from "packages" to "recipes" as used in OpenEmbedded as the term "packages" can be confusing to people and has many different meanings. Not all recipes have been classified yet, this is just a first pass at separating things out. Some packages are moved to meta-extras as they're no longer actively used or maintained.
