* batmand is included in the current OE repository but is not being actively maintained.
The batman-adv kernel module is a replacement for batmand and requires batctl for operation.
Recipe has been tested and binary found fully operational using Ȧngström on gumstix board.

For reasons described in [1], the URL and contents of the source archive has changed and the old URL redirects to this. The checksums were updated by a previous commit [2], but only changing the checksums requires a previously downloaded archive to be manually deleted. This patch avoids this by updating the SRC_URI to the new URL.

Due to a GPL violation corrected Binutils archives were uploaded with the suffix »a« and the faulty archives were removed [1]. The URLs redirect to the new archives and therefore the checksums are now incorrect.
In the following commit
commit bc8ddbf7944f82383936d88379619aa46c3954a2
Author: Steffen Sledz <sledz@dresearch-fe.de>

binutils-2.18: fix checksums
the checksums were updated – though it should have been done differently [1–3] and therefore already downloaded old archives have to be deleted manually.
`binutils-{canadian,cross}-sdk_2.18.bb` require `binutils_2.18.bb` but override the checksums by having separate definition for the checksums [4]. By removing these definitions the updated checksums from `binutils_2.18.bb` are used.
This patch is similar to the one submitted by Mats Kärrman [5].
`mamona/binutils-noemu_2.18.bb` is not updated because it also defines `SRC_URI` separately.

1. The release announcement [1] has some more information about the current state.
2. The “official” Web site listed also in the recipe is not current anymore because the credentials have been lost.
3. This recipe is tested using `angstrom-2010.x` and `minimal{,-uclibc}` for `MACHINE = "beagleboard"`.

This recipe builds the 3.3.1-beta version of fftw. This release includes NEON
support, so I made this recipe in hopes of getting more testing.
Built and tested on the USRP-E100 (basically a gumstix Overo) with Angstrom-2010.

This kernel is based on stock 2.6.32 with AT91 patches[2], Android patches[3]
and board specific patches. Some of the board specific patches had been submited
upstream[4]. Custom Android related patches won't be submited upstream. Future
updates are planned to include patches from Android[3] and AT91 Linux tree[5].
