* libbsd: Remove BSD-4-Clause from main packageMark Jonas2020-11-131-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | | libbsd contains a multitude of licenses. For (commercial) projects the 3rd clause of the BSD-4-Clause license can be problematic. But only a few man pages use this license. This means that the main package containing the binary library itself is not under BSD-4-Clause ruling. | | | | | | | | | | | | | * The LIC_FILES_CHKSUM is changed becauses the files updated the date, and added a BSD-3-clause-John-Birrell for man/timeradd.3bsd, this license is already there for other files. * Update 0002-Remove-funopen.patch * Remove 0003-Fix-build-breaks-due-to-missing-a.out.h.patch, the a.out code is gone in the source, so this patch is not needed any more. * libbsd: libbsd-overlay.pc: Set Cflags to use -I instead of -isystemFabio Berton2017-02-052-0/+34
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | pkg-config currently only handles -I and -L correctly, but misses -isystem, so we need to do this workaround to fix this issue. There's a open bug in: https://bugzilla.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=99516 This appears when building lldpd and shows error: ERROR: lldpd-0.9.6-r0 do_configure: This autoconf log indicates errors, it looked at host include and/or library paths while determining system capabilities. Rerun configure task after fixing this. ERROR: lldpd-0.9.6-r0 do_configure: Function failed: do_qa_configure Change-Id: I83255b5952e19bb2f516b1186276cd03eb67eed3 Signed-off-by: Fabio Berton <fabio.berton@ossystems.com.br> Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com>
* libbsd: Fix build with muslKhem Raj2016-11-154-0/+553
| | | | | | | | | a.out.h support is not across all architectures only x86/x86_64 support is in linux/a.out.h, this patch abstracts the minimum needed constructs into itself Signed-off-by: Khem Raj <raj.khem@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com>

* libbsd: Security fix and update 0.8.2Armin Kuster2016-02-111-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This update includes: CVE-2016-2090 Heap buffer overflow in fgetwln function of libbsd libbsd 0.8.1 and earlier contains a buffer overflow in the function fgetwln(). An if checks if it is necessary to reallocate memory in the target buffer. However this check is off by one, therefore an out of bounds write happens. Upstream has released version 0.8.2 to fix this. Signed-off-by: Armin Kuster <akuster@mvista.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Upgrade the library version to recently released 0.8.0 . * Add missing SUMMARY valuesPaul Eggleton2014-01-021-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | These recipes all had a long DESCRIPTION but no SUMMARY; since the SUMMARY is often displayed alone by package managers and the default value ("${PN} version ${PV}") isn't particularly useful, we should always try to set SUMMARY. * libbsd: Add recipes for libbsd - utility functions from BSD systemsKhem Raj2013-06-251-0/+19
When building BSD programs this library provides common BSD functions that are missing on other OSes e.g. Linux This library is elemental for porting large set of BSD applications current consumer of this are in meta-networking/openbsd-netcat but once we have it in OE-Core more recipes depending on it in different layers can be added.
